Great location, great value, great staff. Convenient to Metro Line 7 (Cadet) and Opera station. Rooms about size expected. Mattresses firm and comfy. The street noise abated at bedtime. Only issue was spotty wi-fi, at least on my floor. I had to go to the lobby to get an adequate signal. Overall, would recommend.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL !! It doesn't offer you the services that you paid in advance ! This happened to me, to my family and my friends. We had reserved 4 rooms for 2 nights during 26-28 of September 2022 and the hot water wasn't available. I discussed with the receptionist twice, with 2 different men, I've even filled a Refund Statement for money, to give the money back for not offering us the hot water for 2 nights. It's unbelievable that happened in the center of Paris in 2022. I would accept any problem could have the hot water system, in this case the management could made possible our stayment in another hotel, hereby, with the same conditions as Havane Opera Hotel. I am still waiting to contact me to refund me the money back. Also the breakfast was minimum as possible consisting in 1 croissant and 1 small bread per person, coffee, tea, milk, marmalade, butter, yogurt, cereals and compote...nothing more.

This was the best location for us for our trip to paris & reasonably priced. Nice enough staff and adequate room but on the 2nd night woke up at 3am to a mouse in the room, i eventually got it out and told reception in the morning. Mildly surprised but no concern or apologies at all, could barely sleep the remaining night & was with children so difficult to find somewhere suitable short notice. Lastly.. breakfast is rubbish, so few options & the last morning there were no clean tables at all, we could not eat. All of them filthy & no one active to clean 1 table for us.. pathetic Pay a bit more and stay somewhere else

At 2 p.m. the rooms were not ready, we changed many rooms to find, finally, one that was cleaned. It could have been no problem, but the man at the reception was rude and offered no excuses. Breakfast is scarce, but the bothering thing was the indifference of the staff. No smile, no amability, just indifference. The most unpleasant moment was at checking out. We booked a taxi for 6,30 a.m. to get to the airport, so we were supposed to leave the hotel at that time. At 6,30 there was nobody in the reception, the door was closed, we could not leave the hotel and the taxi driver blocked the circulation and was standing outside the door, looking perplexed at us. We ringed all the bells, outside the door, inside the reception, nobody answered. Finally, we found an emergency door and we managed to get out of the hotel. It was shocking!

When I was at the hotel and was going to unlock the door to my room the key broke in the middle without me doing anything particular . How the hotel staff dealt with this situation is beyond words. Next morning The Receptionist who was an old man with curly grey hair blamed me and told me that their keys were brand new and that this was completely my fault. They forced me to pay a fee of 15 euros even though I had already pay a debit of 11 euros when arriving at the hotel. I am a young girl at 19 years old and this was my first time traveling alone. I can’t believe how you can treat young girls like that. (Obviously you don’t break a key on purpose!!!) Overall the service was pretty bad. They never said things like “have a nice day” “good evening/morning” etc. For me who works in the service industry myself, this is a completely unacceptable behavior.
